How our AI
works on your farm.
Our D-Tags continuously measure the activity and temperature of each sow. This data is securely stored and analysed by our intelligent software.
Our smart software includes artificial intelligence (AI): self-learning algorithms that recognize abnormalities in sows’ behavior such as low activity or signs of restlessness. By comparing thousands of previous cases, the AI instantly detects when a sow is sick, in heat or possibly not pregnant.

D-tag: Smart innovation on the farm
The D-Tag is D-Care’s patented sensor that accurately monitors both the behavior and the temperature of your sows. They have been extensively tested – first on top athletes, then on sows – and form the foundation on which D-Care has trained its smart AI. This allows us to recognize even subtle changes in behavior at an early stage.
The D-Tag operates via Bluetooth (BLE) and automatically transmits all data to the cloud. That means a stable connection on the farm, long battery life and no hassle with cables or settings. When alerted, the D-Tag’s built-in LED light lights up, making it quick and easy to locate the sow in question.
